A Journey Long Dreamed Of.

Ahh!  My dreams are coming true!  I am going on a trip... a trip of a lifetime and I can't wait to share it with all of you!  On this blog I will be talking about my planning process, packing, staying healthy, dressing fashionably from a backpack, and all the other things I learn along the way.  Buckle your seat belts!  We are in for a long, and awesome ride!  Here is my final plan :).  Won't you join me?


Itinerary For Europe
Arrive in Paris at 8:30 a.m. on April 19th
April 19th-Walking Tour of Paris
April 20th- Check out Bicycle Rentals, Picnic by the Eiffel Tour at sunset to watch the lights turn on. 
April 21st-Day Trip to Versailles
April 22nd - Eat croissants, tarts, éclairs, and macaroons.
April 23rd-Day Trip to Brussels to see the Grand Square
April 24th - Day trip to Reims to tour Champagne district
April 25th - Final Day in Paris.  People watch.  Hang out with all the new people I've met.
April 26th - Fly to Rome.  Find a market, buy some lunch and wine.  Eat on the Spanish Steps.
April 27th - Walking Tour of Rome.  Throw coins in the Trevi Fountain.  Eat Gelato.

April 28th - Tour The Vatican with an Audio book. Learn the history and enjoy the sites.
April 29th - Day Trip to Pompeii

April 30th - Eat Even More Gelato.  Photograph Everything.
May 1st - Last Day in Rome.  Do something spontaneous.
May 2nd - - Train to Florence

May 3rd - See lots of Art... lots and lots of Art.
May 4th - People-Watching in the Piazza della Signoria, Climb Giotto’s Tower.
May 5th - Day Trip to Tuscany farmland either to bike or take cooking class.
May 6th - Final Day in Florence

May 7th - Train to Cinque Terre
May 8th - Hike from Riomaggiore to Manarola 30 Min
Spend 2 hours in Manarola
Hike from Manarola to Corniglia 1 hour
Lunch and touring Corniglia 2 hours
Hike From Corniglia to Vernazza - 2 hours.
Sit on the Beach and watch the sun set with a bottle of wine to celebrate your accomplishments.
May 9th -Spend morning in VernazzaHike from Vernazza to Monteroso al Mare - 2 hours

May 10th - Train to Venice - Get lost wondering aimlessly (It's an island... can't really get too lost.) 
May 11th - Tour the 3 main islands
May 12th - Read, photograph, and write.  Fall in love with this place.
May 13th - Train to Munich - Get lunch at Viktualienmarkt farmers market.  

May 14th - Explore and Drink German Beer
May 15th - Day Trip to Neuschwanstein and pretend to be a princess.
May 16th - Rent a bicycle and hop from neighborhood to neighborhood

.May 17th - Train to Salzburg
May 18th - Tour Salzburg Sounds of Music Style
May 19th - Train to Vienna, check out the many markets.

May 20th - Tour Vienna and see a lot of palaces
May 21st - Visit museums of the musical greats.
May 22nd - Train to Prague, marvel at the Prague Castle

May 23rd - Tour Prague, appreciate that this is the cheapest stop on the trip... maybe buy real food
May 24th - Czech Beer Festival
May 25th - Walking history tour, throw coins in lots of fountains... see lots of statues.
May 26th - Train to Heidelberg

May 27th - Walk down Philosophers' Way.  
May 28th - Train to Paris, say goodbye to an awesome adventure.
May 29th - Relax and remember all the awesome things you've done
May 30th - Plane home.
